The driveway is the first thing anyone sees and the patio is where you spend the summer. Both are only as good as what is underneath them.
We dig out to the right depth, lay a compacted sub base and sort the drainage before any surface goes down. Resin driveways are laid by our partner, a Daltex approved installation team, and our natural stone and porcelain paving comes from Paving Stones Direct, one of the largest paving suppliers in the country.
Because driveway and patio work is quick to turn round, it is often the easiest way to improve how a house looks.

Resin bound driveways
Resin driveways are laid by our partner, a Daltex approved installation team, using Daltex resin and dried aggregates.
A resin bound surface is only as good as the base under it. We excavate, lay and compact a sub base, lay a porous asphalt base on top, set the edging, and then the resin is mixed and trowelled by hand to a smooth, even finish. It is permeable, so rain drains straight through rather than running off onto the road.

Do resin driveways need planning permission?
Resin bound surfaces are permeable, so front driveways laid in resin bound normally do not need planning. Non permeable surfaces over five square metres in a front garden usually need planning unless water drains to a lawn or border.
How long does a driveway take?
It depends on the size, the base required and the surface, and you get a timescale with your quotation.
